Made with non-GMO Freeze-dried Raspberries, these are the perfect addition to any food storage plan! They don’t require refrigeration, and feature a 25-year shelf life! Featuring no added sweeteners, preservatives, or additives, these raspberries are sure to please. Sweet yet tart, raspberries are full of essential plant compounds such as fiber, vitamin C, and potassium. They also contain Omega-3 fatty acids, most of the B-vitamins (especially folate), vitamin A, and vitamin E.
Very easy to prepare; raspberries are a healthy addition to trail mixes, a crunchy topping for cereals and desserts, or they can be rehydrated. If you are a tea drinker, you can even consider steeping some of these berries in with your leaves for a natural sweetener and some extra flavour (raspberry pairs well with black teas.) Try using them whole or ground in your baking or candy making – dried berries will not affect the moisture content of your recipes!
To rehydrate, simply soak your raspberries for 5 minutes in a generous amount of hot or cold water, then drain.
Yield — Each pouch contains over 10 cups of freeze dried raspberries. This bundle contains 3 pouches for a total yeild of over 30 cups.
Rehydration Ratio — 300g of freeze dried whole raspberries, once rehydrated, equals approximately 2.1 kg of fresh prepared raspberries.
