SURVIVAL FOOD ships Canada wide.
Orders will be processed within 2 business days following the receipt of the order. Product is normally shipped within 3 – 5 business days after your order has been processed. If we experience an unexpected crush of orders, shipping times may be increased accordingly as inventory levels get depleted and we await new stock.
We will use the most secure, cost effective and safe way to deliver your products. Most products are shipped via Canada Post, FedEx or LTL carrier unless the size of the order or the client requires alternate shipping arrangements. These may incur additional shipping charges and will be communicated via email. The products are shipped only after we have received confirmation of your order and there is available stock.
Cases of Food Bars and MRE’s have flat rate shipping charges as shown on the Cart and Checkout pages.
In some circumstances, additional shipping charges may incur for oversized, bulky or heavier items and items shipped to remote and rural locations. You will be contacted via email after we have received your order in our system.
The safe shipment of your order is our priority. We take care and attention to ship in crush protective boxes and pack our product tightly so that there is minimal movement within the boxes. With larger orders, we will make sure that the box is not too big or unwieldy to handle.
All shipping charges, if any, are in Canadian Dollars.
RETURN / CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancel Items from an Order:
SURVIVAL FOOD customers may cancel any item from their order with the exception of special orders or sale items provided that the customer order has not yet entered the SURVIVAL FOOD shipping and processing department.
Customers are encouraged to contact SURVIVAL FOOD as soon as possible to cancel items from their order.
If the item to be cancelled has already entered the shipping process, it cannot be cancelled by our customer service department. However, customers may return the item at their own shipping expense for a SurvivalFood.ca Online Store Credit. Please refer to the SURVIVAL FOOD Return Policy below for more information.
General Return Policy:
SURVIVAL FOOD customers may return new, un-opened items purchased and fulfilled from SurvivalFood.ca within 30 days of SURVIVAL FOOD receipt or invoice for a store credit at customers own shipping expense. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. SURVIVAL FOOD will only pay return shipping charges if the return is a result of SURVIVAL FOOD’s error.
Customers should expect to receive a SurvivalFood.ca Online Store Credit Voucher within four weeks of SURVIVAL FOOD receiving returned item to the return shipper. However, in many cases customers may receive an SurvivalFood.ca Online Store Credit Voucher sooner. This time period includes the transit time for SURVIVAL FOOD to receive the customer return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days) and the time it takes SURVIVAL FOOD to process customer returns once SURVIVAL FOOD receives it (5 to 7 business days).
Items That Are Not Returnable:
SURVIVAL FOOD does not accept returns of the following items:
- Items that are opened and used.
- Items that are damaged by customers.
- Food containers that have been used.
- Food items that have been opened
- Bulk Foods
If a customer received a faulty item from SURVIVAL FOOD and needs to exchange it for the same replacement item. The customer may return the item to SURVIVAL FOOD for inspection complete with proof of customer shipping costs. If upon inspection by SURVIVAL FOOD the item is deemed faulty, SURVIVAL FOOD will ship a replacement item to the customer at no expense. SURVIVAL FOOD will also include reimbursement to the customer for the shipping costs incurred to ship the faulty item back to SURVIVAL FOOD.
If the customer would like to exchange a faulty item for a different item, they can return the faulty item to SURVIVAL FOOD for inspection complete with proof of customer shipping costs. If upon inspection by SURVIVAL FOOD the item is deemed faulty, SURVIVAL FOOD will ship a replacement item to the customer at no expense unless the shipping costs to ship the different replacement item (plus additional costs if the replacement item(s) are of a higher value) is substantially higher due to increased weight and size as compared to the original items. In this event, the customer will only be charged the increased shipping costs above and beyond what the cost would have been for shipping the original faulty replacement item back to the customer. SURVIVAL FOOD will also include reimbursement to the customer for the shipping costs incurred by the customer to ship the faulty item back to SURVIVAL FOOD.
Please allow approximately 5 to 7 business days to process returns after items are received at the SURVIVAL FOOD Returns Center. SURVIVAL FOOD will notify customer via e-mail when the replacement items are processed and ready to be shipped.
